Westside High School, located in suburban New Jersey, had the best grades in its class of 2017, according to a national report.
Westside had a grade of 7.7 for the year.
Other top performing schools included: Barrington High School (7.5), Barrington College (7), Woodbury High School in New Jersey (7) and Bedford Middle School in Massachusetts (7).
The schools ranked high for achievement in math, science and reading.
Westside was ranked among the best high schools in America in grades seven through 12, according the 2016 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).
Westside High was also ranked among America’s top public schools for math and science achievement, and was named the No. 1 best high school for high school graduation by USA Today in 2015.
The average score on a 10-point scale was 3.8.
West Shore had the highest score of 3.82.
In the past 10 years, the average score of a West Shore student was 5.17, according Toppan School’s website.
West Shore has a student body of more than 6,000 students, and has an enrollment of more that 3,000.
The school has more than 8,000 teachers.
The school’s website states that students can take a one-hour test online or by phone in English and Spanish.
The website also says that students have access to computers and computers on campus, with access to all of their classrooms and all of the school computers.
