Xavier High School, located in the heart of the city of Chandler, Arizona, will be the home of a new basketball team.
The program, named The Way Our Do, is named after a basketball legend, Michael Jordan.
The team will begin its inaugural season on September 3rd.
The Way Our Does will play the Arizona Wildcats at 7:00 PM at the Arizona State Fairgrounds.
Fans can watch the action on the Fox Sports Arizona Sports app, as well as via ESPN.com and Fox Sports GO.
The team will also be featured in a Nike ad campaign on August 9th, as part of the Wildcats’ first ad campaign since being added to the FOX Sports Arizona Arizona Sports brand in 2016.
The ad will air during the first half of the season.
The Chandler High School basketball team is comprised of:Freshman guard and all-American guard Kaleb Kuzma, as he continues to lead the team in scoring and rebounding.
Sophomore guard/forward Ryan Bostrom, a three-year letterwinner and former Arizona standout, has been named the team captain.
Senior forward Kyle Anderson, a four-year member of the Arizona High School Association, has also been named to the team.
Senior guard and four-star prospect Tyler Davis, who was a first-team All-American, has become a consensus four-Star prospect.
Junior guard/rebounder Ryan Rucker, a two-time All-State and All-Division selection, has joined the team as the team’s captain.
The Arizona High school basketball team has played in the Arizona Collegiate Tournament in the past, taking home the 2015 national title.
This is the first time that the team has been part of an Arizona Collegial Tournament since 2012.
The Way our Do team is hoping to become the first high school team to win an Arizona State College Cup.
